June 4 at 7:05 p.m. will mark the eighth annual Hopewell Valley Night at Waterfront Park.
Before the Trenton Thunder plays the Richmond Flying Squirrels, a “Field of Dreams” team of Hopewell Valley Little Leaguers will get a special treat. They’ll warm up with the Thunder on the field.
Just before the game, the Hopewell Valley Chorus will sing the national anthem.
The deadline to order tickets is May 4.
”We’ve had over 450 Hopewell Valley residents join us for this annual event. It is a wonderful way to bring the Hopewell Valley community together and enjoy a fun night of baseball,” said Heidi Kahme, chairwoman of the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance, sponsor of the event.
Tickets can be reserved by filling out an order form available on the Hopewell Township website: www.hopewelltwp.org under news and notices or by calling the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance at 737-0120, ext. 642. Tickets are $10 for pavilion seats, $8 for seniors or child. Groups are welcome. Tickets will be mailed to residents the week of May 18.
During the game, there will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Municipal Alliance. The Alliance, also known as Healthy Communities/Healthy Youth, provides funding and support for over 25 programs that focus on positive youth development, drug and alcohol education and prevention and community engagement.
