Bible Baptist Church announces arrival of new pastor
New Egypt, NJ – May 5, 2010 – The Bible Baptist Church is pleased to announce the arrival of its new pastor Dominick Cuozzo, who took the pastorate on March 1, 2010.
Pastor Cuozzo was born in Tom’s River, NJ, to Frank and Margaret Cuozzo. God lead his family to Florida in 1982, where he was raised. He trusted Christ as his Savior at a very young age. Then at age 13, Dominick surrendered his life to God’s will, knowing that God wanted him to preach the Gospel.
In high school, Pastor Cuozzo began preaching, even before entering Crown College of the Bible in Tennessee. He attended the seminary and graduated in 2004. While serving God and taking graduate seminary classes in Tennessee, Pastor Cuozzo met his wife Nicole, whom he married in 2005.
The young couple joined an older Pastor in a new church plant in Lafollette, TN. They were able to see the Heritage Baptist Church established and thriving before moving the Caldwell, NJ, in 2008 to assist the Ministry of the First Baptist Church. They served there with their two children, Frank (3) and Olivia (2) until being called to the Bible Baptist Church of New Egypt.
Cuozzo says, “The Lord has opened up many opportunities for me and my family over the years, and we are very excited about coming to New Egypt. Serving in New Jersey is not without its challenges, but we believe that with great challenges comes a great potential for us to give God the Glory.”
New Egypt is located less than five miles from a large military superbase, Fort Dix, McGuire Air Force Base and Lakehurst Naval Air Station. “With all three branches of the armed forces deployed in one place, there is an incredible open door to make the Gospel known to the young men and women living on the bases,” continues Cuozzo.
“There is a great need for Bible Preaching Churches in the Northeast. This part of Ocean County is a rapidly growing area, which provides the opportunity to reach an increasing number of people with the good news of the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. We want them to know there is a new pastor at Bible Baptist Church and that it will continue to be a place where the Word of God is preached, and Jesus Christ is uplifted,” says Cuozzo.
The Cuozzo family is excited about their new church family and looking forward to a long and fruitful ministry in New Egypt.
