Mrs. Rose, 88, of Freehold, died April 16, 2010, at home. Prior to moving to Freehold Township, where she resided for many years, she and her husband had lived in El Paso, Texas, Anniston, Ala., Spotswood, Maracay, Venezuela, and Brussels, Belgium. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Peter J. Schweitzer in Spotswood. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, in 2005, and her siblings, Ann Bombolis, Mildred Baron, Helen Lietner, Stella Kerr and Peter Walencis. Mrs. Rose is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Ann Arlene Rose of Freehold; a sister, Jean Walencis; two grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colts Neck, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro. Arrangements were by the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
