Mrs. Closterman, 98, of Hazlet, died March 31, 2010, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She came to the United States from England as a young child and was a longtime resident of Garfield before settling in Hazlet in 2006. Mrs. Closterman was predeceased by her husband, Peter Closterman, in 1999. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Nunes of Howell and Richard Closterman and his wife, Roberta, of Closter; and seven grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet.
