Mr. Powell, 74, of Freehold Township, died May 7, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Long Branch and had resided in the Keansburg and Middletown areas for most of his life. Mr. Powell was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed as a construction worker. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Harold F. and Eleanor Powell. Private services were under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
