Concert, forum to benefit CINJ May 29

The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) is partnering with QueZara Productions and the South Asian Total Health Initiative to host a networking and panel discussion event for health professionals 4–5:30 p.m. May 29 at North Brunswick Township High School, Raider Road.

The discussion will focus on trends in cancer research, breast cancer screening strategies and a look at the disease from a practitioner and researcher’s perspectives. Leading the panel will be Dr. Shridar Ganesan, a CINJ medical oncologist, who conducts research on the biology of breast cancer.

“Burmania” is a celebration of the work of Bollywood music composer Rahul Dev Burman. Performers include musicians and vocalists from the Bollywood/ South Indian music industry. The event also will mark the exclusive premiere of an excerpt from a new film about Burman’s life and career.
