Mrs. Russo, 75, of Jackson, died May 24, 2010, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived there until moving to Jackson in 1996. She served as executive director for the New York City Bowling Proprietors Association for many years. She was one of the founders of the Winding Ways Italian American Club and served as its co-chair for many years. She was also involved with the Jackson Senior Center and Seniors Who Care as well as the Red Hats. She was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne, in 1989; three brothers, Rosario Maszzuo, Robert Cori and Salvatore (Sammy) Cori; and a sister, Phyllis Mastromarino. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Rocco Russo; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Robin Russo of Manalapan; two grandsons; a sister and brother-inlaw, Maria and Robert Cronin of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Tom and Lucy Cori of Staten Island, N.Y., and John Cori of Queens, N.Y.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carmela and Pat Graziano of Jackson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Aloysius Church, Jackson. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
