Florence Township Chapter of Deborah will hold their meeting tonight, June 24, 7:30 p.m., at the Sterling House. We will be having a Fall Bus Trip to Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre on Oct. 31 to see "Church Basement Ladies." The cost is $72. Call Carol at 499-1927 for reservations.
There will be a Special VIP Bus Deborah Casino Trip to the Hilton, Wednesday, June 30. The bus leaves the library in Roebling at 9:15 am. Few seats are still available, so don’t wait! Florence U.M. Church, 209 Broad Street in Florence will hold their Vacation Bible School July 12 through July 17, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (five evenings) and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, with the closing program on July 18 during church service. Please call 499-0261 for registration forms. Space is limited. Please call immediately. We need to know how many children we will have so that we can order our materials.
Providence Presbyterian Church on Old York Road will hold the Vacation Bible School from June 20 to July 6, 6 – 8:30 p.m. You must register in advance to insure a space. You may contact by e mail www.provpresch.org.
Cobalt Blu in concert in the Great Hall at Trinity U.M.C-R on Saturday. June 26, 8 p.m. This is a men’s choral group featuring local talent with a repertoire of mostly a capella songs, directed by Hobart Spears III. Refreshments will be served. $15 donation is suggested and tickets may be secured at the door or in advance at the church office, 609-499-4809. Proceeds will benefit TUMC-R.
