Mr. Beecher, 82, of Jackson, died June 23, 2010, at CareOne at Jackson. He was born in Trenton and had lived in Penns Neck until 1992, when he moved to Freehold Township. Mr. Beecher worked for RCA in Princeton, retiring in 1987. He also was a special police officer for West Windsor Township and the Fire Chief for Princeton Junction Fire Company for many years. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Elaine Beecher of Jackson; a niece; a nephew; and a great-niece. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. July 3 at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St., Freehold. Interment will be private.
