The Freehold Soil Conservation District is looking for photographers to capture subjects promoting the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. Wildlife, landscapes, natural resources, agriculture, waterscapes and conservation practices are all suitable subjects.
Photo contest prizes: first place, $200; second place, $100; third place: $75.
Photos should depict the natural beauty of the environment, agriculture, wildlife, landscapes or waterscapes unique to the area. Photos must be taken in Middlesex County or Monmouth County. Photo location, landmark, town or address should be included with entry.
The contest is open to anyone age 18 or over as of Sept. 30, 2010. Photo sizes: 8×10 inches or 8×12 inches (color or black and white). Photos must be received at the Freehold Soil Conservation District by Sept. 30, 2010. Photos will not be returned. There is a limit of three photos per person.
