Max Leviton, son of Celia and David Leviton of Jackson, has graduated cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical engineering. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an ensign in the U.S. Navy and is currently serving aboard the USS New Orleans as the main propulsion officer. Leviton is a 2006 graduate of the Marine Academy of Sciences and Technology, Sandy Hook.
