   The Bordentown City Library, 18 E. Union St., is offering the following programs:
FOR CHILDREN
   Music To Move By-Thursday, Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m. for babies and children birth to 4 years old. Babies and children birth to 4 years old are invited to a special music program presented by Ann Wild. She combines song, movement guitar, shaky eggs and more to delight and inspire!
   Movie Time!-Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 2:00 p.m. for kids 10 to 18 years old. Kids and teens 10 to 18 years old are invited to join us for Movie Time at the library. We will be showing Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Snacks are welcome. Registration is not required.
   Make A Splash Story Time-Thursday, Aug. 26 at 10:30 a.m. for kids 3 to 6 years old. Kids 3 to 6 years old are invited to join us for a “Make A Splash” story time. Come and enjoy stories, songs and a fun craft.
   Movie Matinee-Thursday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. for kids 5 years and older. Join us to watch Free Willy: Escape From Pirate’s Cove, rated PG. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Snacks are welcome. Registration not required.
FOR ADULTS
   Songwriters in the Round will be presented on Thursday, Aug. 19, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Join us for this Nashville style songwriters-in-the-round show where some of the area’s best songwriters showcase their original songs. Kim Yarson, Jo Wymer, and Domenick Carino will each go in the round singing their original songs and sometimes tells a story of where the songs came from in the creative process. Registration is not required. Walk-ins welcome.
   Registration is necessary for most programs. For children’s programs, registration begins two weeks in advance at the library, online, or by calling 298-0622. A Burlington County library card is required for all programs. Library services and programs are held at our renovated facility at 18 E. Union St. in Bordentown. Library hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed on Saturdays and Sundays in August.
   Join Dawn Nikithser the first Wednesday evening of the month for a Creative Writing Workshop. Dawn is a corporate copy writer by day and a mad creatrix by night. Writing is a solitary craft but sooner or later, you have to put your words out there and find out what other people think. The Creative Writing Workshop is a great way to share ideas and get constructive criticism in a friendly but also functional atmosphere. All genres and ideas welcome, in all forms. Bring a notebook and pen or your laptop. This month’s workshop will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Registration is required. You must have a library card to attend. Registration begins Aug. 4.
   Master the Mouse will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Master the three basic skills of using a mouse. Learn how to point, click and scroll. Registration is required. You must have a library card to attend. Registration begins Aug. 5.
