The Provident Bank has announced that it is now offering a special rate on a 20- year biweekly, fixed-rate mortgage. Instead of making a large payment every month, homeowners can make half payments every two weeks. This biweekly mortgage is paid off in 16 or 17 years instead of 20 years, saving homeowners thousands of dollars in interest. Marlboro Auto Body and Coachworks is celebrating its 35th year of doing business in the Marlboro area. Located at 13 Vanderburg Road, the business was founded by Madeline and John Zeleznik in 1975.

According to Madeline Zeleznik, she and her (now deceased) husband turned a dilapidated warehouse into a modern building and working area and built a solid reputation among their clients over the years as a reputable family owned business. The business currently has nine employees (five of whom are Zeleznik’s sons), each of whom has at least 20 years of experience.

Zeleznik said the shop is currently enhanced by the latest computer technology.

The Freehold Township Learning Experience Child Development Center, 3538 Route 9 south, Freehold Township, will host open houses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 21 and 28. Kessler Rehabilitation Center’s outpatient division (with offices in Freehold) will host the 2010 Kessler and Friends Military Golf Benefit onAug. 23 at Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale. All of the proceeds from this event will go to fund programs for members of the armed services and their families. Among the special guests scheduled to play is former New York Jets defensive lineman Joe Klecko. The tournament will feature “Operation Armed Foursome,” a sponsored day of golf that enables an active military member to be included in every foursome.
