Non-Fiction Book Club: "A Year in Provence" by Peter Mayle. In prose that skips along lightly, the author records the highlights of each month, painting colorful portraits of his neighbors, the Proveneaux grocers and butchers and farmers who amuse, confuse, and befuddle him at every turn. Evening Book Club: "Franny and Zooey" by J.D. Salinger. "Franny and Zooey" is two interrelated stories by J.D. Salinger, which were originally published in The New Yorker and then published in book form in 1961.
