Hungry Readers Book Club: The club meets at noon on the first Monday of each month, but will meet Sept. 13 because of Labor Day. All are welcome. Author Robin Gaby Fisher, a nationally-acclaimed news feature writer with the Star-Ledger, will have a book signing of "After the Fire," the story of two survivors of the deadly 2000 fire at Seton Hall University, at the Sept. 13 meeting. Crochet Club and Knitting, Too! Whether you are a beginner or a master, come join this new club. Bring your hook, needles and some yarn. Registration is required by the 15th of each month. First meeting will be held at 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 25.
Regular hours are Monday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The library is closed on Saturdays for summer hours, until Aug. 28.

Follow this column concerning special events being planned at Hillsborough Public Library, located in the municipal complex, South Branch Road and Beekman Lane, 369-2200.
Library hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

Celebrate the end of our Summer Reading programs with Brian Richards at 7 p.m. Aug. 31. His comedy and magic is loved by young and old alike.
