CRANBURY – The Recycle Shed will be open today, Friday, from noon to 3 p.m.
Bring unwanted E-waste – all computer components, televisions, fax machines, electric cords (all types including computer, gaming, strands of lights, extension, etc.), printer cartridges, cell phones and mercury containing thermometers to 100 Dey Road.
White goods – washers, dryers, refrigerators, window air conditioning units, dehumidifiers, etc. – and scrap metal – bikes, metal or aluminum lawn furniture, metal fence posts, etc – will be accepted during this time. Due to the inability to recycle microwaves, they are considered scrap metal.
Be aware personnel is limited and may not be available to help unload large items.
Other acceptable items include formed polystyrene, compact florescent bulbs, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes, a new item.
For those who are uncertain if an item can be recycled, call 395-0900, ext. 229.
This service is available for Cranbury residents.
As a reminder, cleanup weekend is scheduled for Oct. 2 and 3. Proof of residency may be required.
