Valley Chorus begins new season

Open rehearsals and registration for the Hopewell Valley Chorus’ new season take place Sept. 13 and 20 at Hopewell Valley Central High School, 259 W. Delaware Ave., at 7 p.m

Michele Zuckman, of Lambertville, takes leadership as the chorus ends the yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary with a holiday program, "Snow Had Fallen, Snow on Snow."
Ms. Zuckman brings experience as a teacher and music director at the Lambertville Downtown Performing Arts Center, as well as local conducting and teaching credits at the Lambertville Music School and Bucks County Playhouse.
In 2007, she sang with the Spoleto Festival Choir and is a member of the Princeton Singers.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and music education with a conducting minor from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree in choral conducting and music education from Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
She was a founding faculty member of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts in Bethlehem, Pa., leading choirs that performed at the United Nations and the National Shrine, Washington, D.C.
