Revaluation ‘do-over’ or just a ‘do-it-again’

Will a "do-over" of Princetons’ reassessments just be a "do-again?"
If we do reassess again with the same extraction method, we will likely get the same result. The flaw is in the methodology used — making land more valuable than housing. Subtraction is the norm.
Besides there are families right now unable to pay their taxes. And the only solution for these families I heard from council was to strip them of their equity so they could die in their homes but leave nothing to their children or grandchildren. That is equity stripping and gentrification on steroids brought to us by our locally elected government. And ASI knew it and even acknowledged it as we heard from the others at last week’s Borough Council meeting.
Shame on all of you for allowing this method to be used, which I understand had not been used in the past revaluations. It is understood by many that both governing bodies knew that this method would redistribute the taxes from the larger homes to the smaller homes and properties. Again shame on all of you. I suggest we all vote Republican for borough and township council.
