7-DAY FALL HARVEST FEASTIVAL AT HAR SINAI TEMPLE
Hopewell Twp. – Har Sinai Temple’s 7-day Fall Harvest Festival begins the evening of Sept. 22 when families are invited to bring fruit, vegetables and homemade decorations to help decorate the outdoor Sukkot.
The service begins at 7 p.m. in the temple’s chapel.
On Sept. 23, a Sukkot morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. On Sept. 24, the 7:30 p.m. Chol Hamoed Sukkot Shabbat service will immediately be followed by Har Sinai’s traditional "Sundaes in the Sukkah Smorgasbord".
The week-long festival ends on Sept. 29 with a 7 p.m. service and the Simchat Torah/Consecration/Yizkor and traditional dancing with the Torah. The Consecration will welcome children beginning their Religious School studies this Fall. This service will be held in the chapel and will include music by pianist Mark Sobol and his Kiezmer group, Kiez with Class.
The Yizkor memorial service will be held Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m.
