PennDOT repairs, resurfaces highways in Bucks

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said recently that construction was scheduled to begin Tuesday on a $6.2 million project to resurface 26 miles of state highway and install 63 curb ramps in Bucks County.
Targeted for resurfacing under this project are:
– Aquetong Road between Route 202 (Lower York Road) and Fleecy Dale Road in Solebury and Plumstead townships.
– Wismer Road between Carversville Road and Tollgate Road in Solebury and Plumstead townships.
Blooming Glen Contractors Inc. is the general contractor on the $6,280,592 project that is financed with 100 percent state funds.
Construction is expected to finish by June 2011.
