Mrs. Conrow, 97, of Farmingdale, died July 20, 2010, at Tower Lodge Care Center, Wall. She was a graduate of Manasquan High School and Rider College, Trenton, in 1931. She worked as an accounting technician at Fort Monmouth for over 20 years, retiring in 1981. She served as a substitute teacher in the Howell Township School District for several years after working at the U.S. Farm Bureau in Freehold. She was an active member of the MonmouthCountyRepublican Party and was elected as a Howell Township Republican committeewoman. Mrs. Conrow was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Holmes Conrow II, in 1981; a sister, Bernice Farry, in 1994, and a brother, Chester O. Farry, in 1983. Surviving her are two daughters, Joan C. Smith, of Washington, D.C., and Linda C. Griffin, of Rotonda West, Fla.; four grandchildren, including Diana Smith Keil of Jackson; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
