Herles A. Martinez, 19, of Academy Street, was charged Aug. 31 with robbery, assault and theft.
Police said he is responsible for the robbery and beating of two people on Mercer Street on July 27. He was sent to the Mercer County Correction Center on $10,000 bail.
A man told police he was punched and kicked in the face by two men as he was walking the area of Princeton Arms South 1 around 9:35 p.m. Sunday.
He was taken to the University Medical Center at Princeton for treatment of facial injuries.
Javier Sanchez Mesa, 34, of Old Cranbury Road, was charged Monday with simple assault and criminal trespass.
Police said he assaulted two people at a Stockton Street residence after a disagreement around 2 p.m. The victims were treated at area hospitals for facial lacerations.
Two juvenile males, a 14-year-old from Stockton Street and a 15-year-old from Windsor Castle apartments, were charged Sunday with burglary.
The teens were found to be in possession of two GPS units after being picked up on Hopkinson Court, one of which was stolen from a vehicle in Princeton Arms, police said.
A woman told police someone scratched her vehicle while it was parked on Cranbury Court between 7 p.m. Aug. 28 and 9 a.m. Aug. 29, causing $400 in damage.
A man told police someone stole his blue and silver Mongoose BMX bike, worth $135, after it was left unsecured at the library on Abbington Drive between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 1.
Nancy M. Bradley, 44, of Park Avenue, Hightstown, was charged Sept. 3 with attempt to obtain prescription drug by deception.
Police said her arrest was preceded by a probe of fraudulent narcotics prescriptions being called in to Walgreens and Target pharmacies.
Jorge Pineda Garcia, 26, and Ricardo Garcia Ramirez, 28, both of Abbington Drive, were charged Saturday with shoplifting. Police said personnel at Target reported seeing two people trying to leave the store without paying for a video camera worth $100. Mr. Garcia also was found to have stolen merchandise worth $46 from TJ Max, police said.
Patrick Batty, 37, of Cranbury, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and careless driving.
He was arrested after a motorist reported seeing a suspected intoxicated driver on Route 571, near Route 130, and followed the driver into the CVS parking lot around 12:20 a.m., police said.
A bicycle tire was reported stolen Sept. 2 from a storage room in the basement of one of the buildings at The Orchard.
Hightstown
Robbinsville police Sept. 1 arrested and turned over to the Hightstown police Guy Costley, 46, of Livingston Drive, East Windsor, who was charged with contempt of court. Mr. Costley had an outstanding $750 warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.
Darnell Moore, 36, of Gardenview Terrace, East Windsor, was arrested Sept. 2 after officers discovered he had an outstanding probation warrant issued by Mercer County. Mr. Moore was released to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
East Windsor police Sept. 3 arrested and turned over to Hightstown police Yuri Gonzalez, 24, of Windsor Regency, East Windsor, who was charged with contempt of court. Mr. Yuri had an outstanding $2,000 warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court and a $1,500 warrant issued by Bergen Municipal Court. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.
Thomas Procaccini, 52, of Long Branch, was charged Sept. 3 with contempt of court. Investigating a suspicious person, police said they conducted a credential check of the subject revealing an active warrant for $400 issued by Manalapan Municipal Court.
Robinson Pacurucu, 31, of Westerlea Arms, was charged Saturday with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated within a school zone, careless driving, reckless driving and possession of a fraudulent driver’s license.
Police said he was stopped at 8:12 p.m. after being seen driving over the center, cement island on Main Street and that breath samples resulted in a 0.11 percent blood-alcohol content.
William Erikson, 20, of Old York Road, East Windsor, was charged Sunday with underage driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, and careless driving.
Police said he was stopped at 12:35 a.m. after driving over the center median on Main Street and that breath samples resulted in a 0.07 percent blood-alcohol content.
Ahmed Mellouk, 19, of Paterson, was charged Sunday with contempt of court, driving while suspended, and hindering his own apprehension. Police said he was stopped around 9 p.m. on Rogers Avenue after a random license plate inquiry revealed his driving privileges were revoked and he had warrants for his arrest. The warrants were issued by Elmwood Park Municipal Court in the amount of $165 and Maywood Municipal Court in the amount of $469.
Voorhees police Wednesday turned over Michael Bondarenko, 40, of Willingboro, who had $1,500 in warrants issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court.
