Cortney Natalicchio and Danielle Andreulla each scored twice to lift the New Egypt field hockey team to a 6-3 win over Robbinsville on Monday. New Egypt improve to 2-0 on the season with the win. Gianna Andreula and Emily Bausher added single tallies for the Warriors.
Robbinsville, which slipped to 1-1 with the loss, received a pair of goals from Lauren Hunter and one from Jess Wortelmann. Brooke Piccione had a pair of assists in the loss. The Ravens were scheduled to face Steinert on Tuesday.
Robbinsville had opened the season with a 7-2 win at West Windsor-Plainsboro South on Saturday. Wortelmann scored three goals to pace the offense in the win.
The Allentown field hockey team posted a 1-0 win over Riverside on Monday on a goal by Sara Hanley. Haley Peterson made three saves for the shutout in goal. The Redbirds had topped Northern Burlington, 2-1, on Friday as Hanley and Dana Sensi each scored goals.
