Thanks for supporting ABIS PTA car wash

By: centraljersey.com
I’m writing to express my gratitude to all the parents, students, and supporters of our recent car wash we had at Rhythms last weekend to benefit the ABIS PTA and our students. Altogether we had over 30 students, and numerous parents who either helped out washing cars, or brought car wash supplies to aid our cause.
I’d especially like to thank Rhythms of the Night once again for the use of their parking lot and water, Uncle Ted’s Pizzaria for donating lunch for all of our volunteers, and the Manville Public Works Department for allowing us to use their traffic cones to keep the car wash orderly, and ensure safety for our children. I ask that our community remember these local businesses and frequent their establishments for their non stop dedication to our community’s schools and our children.
And of course, last, but not least, thank you to everyone who came out to support us by having their car washed, dropping off a donation, and spreading the word for us.
We couldn’t have had such a big success without your commitment. And to all of our students who took their own personal time on and Saturday and volunteered, thank you, and be proud of your accomplishment last week.
It truly shows why Manville is such a great community with great children.

Dems plan Oktoberfest to follow golf outing
To the editor:
I’m writing to express my deepest gratitude to all the people who came out and showed their commitment and support for candidates Ed Komoroski and Frank Jurewicz on Aug. 28, at the Branchburg Family Golf Center for our annual Family Mini Golf Outing. It was nice to see a political event that included the entire family just having fun together.
Without your presence the event wouldn’t have been such a huge success.
Our commitment to improving Manville is never ending, and the dedication and commitment Mr. Komoroski and Mr. Jurewicz have to our community is vital for its future, and detrimental to ensuring Manville gets back on track to improvement.
Once again, I’m proud to be a part of our great community, and it’s commitment to ensuring a brighter future for our great town.
Our next event will be on Oct. 2 at Gatto’s in Manville. We will be having an "Oktoberfest" picnic, and would love to see everyone come out and join us for a great night with great friends. The event will run from 4-9 p.m.
So, on behalf of the Manville Democratic Organization, thank you, and we hope to see you at our next event.
