Twin Silo Farm tour Sept. 19

By: centraljersey.com
On Sept. 19 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., join Bucks Beautiful at Twin Silo Farm gardens, 5727 Twin Silo Road, Doylestown, for a tour of the gardens.
Twin Silo Farm is located in Gardenville and was part of an original William Penn Land Grant. The 100-acre farm derives its name from the rare, double stone silos attached to the fieldstone barn built in 1781.
The original modest homestead was transformed into a magnificent country estate by the current owner, Andrew Hartnagle.
The 50-acre manicured gardens consist of a series of formal garden rooms; a 2-acre pond graced by white swans, beautiful sculptures and dozens of magnificent containers brimming with flowers and plants. A llama barn is designed to resemble a Polish country house.
To view this property, allow two hours for the self-guided tour. The cost is $20 per person. Tickets may be purchased in advance through Bucks Beautiful or on the day of the tour at Twin Silo Farm.
