The Lawrence Flames Pee Wee Bs ice hockey team opened its season with a 5-1 victory over the Bridgewater Bears. After giving up one goal in the first period on a Bear’s power play, the Flames held off Bridgewater thanks to defenders Sam Dwyer, Christian Millwood, Brennan Kosis and Brian Mark, along with goalies Mike Bunavicc and Calvin McKay. Eli Panter tallied twice for the Flames while Ian Moini, John Kiczek and Kyle DePalma scored one each.
