The Hopewell Valley community is invited to celebrate 14 years of Healthy Communities Healthy Youth at this year’s annual Hopewell Valley Mayors’ Breakfast being held on Oct. 1 at the Hopewell Valley Golf Club. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast.
Healthy Communities Healthy Youth is an initiative of the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance, which brings all sectors of the community together to address substance abuse issues and promote a healthy community and healthy youth using a positive approach.
"This idea of a community collaboration came to us 14 years ago. Our vision over the years remains the same; a community united in the development of caring, confident and responsible youth," said Heidi Kahme, chairwoman of the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance.
The annual breakfast, hosted by Hopewell Valley’s mayors is an opportunity to recognize individuals who have made a commitment of improving the lives of young people and to celebrate the communities’ work toward that end.
If you would like to attend the breakfast, contact Ms. Kahme at 737-0120, ext. 642. Community businesses interested in sponsoring the event are invited to contact the Municipal Alliance.
