A portion of Route 206 was closed Thursday morning following a three-vehicle accident at its intersection with Ewing Street.
According to police, the accident occurred after Wendy Ankener, 41, of Lawrenceville, was trying to make a left turn onto Route 206 and was hit by a Freightliner truck being driven by Rohan Brooks, 33, of Philadelphia.
The impact spun Ms. Ankener’s vehicle around and into a third vehicle, a bucket truck being driven by James Mitchell, 34, of Cranbury.
Ms. Ankener suffered a head injury, was removed from her vehicle by the Princeton First Aid Squad and taken to the University Medical Center at Princeton.
A portion of the road was closed for about an hour with northbound traffic being detoured on to Mt. Lucas Road.
