HACY swimmers place at NJ Junior Olympics

The Hamilton Y Aquatic Club (HACY) had several top 16 finishers at the New Jersey Junior Olympics, a long course meet held at Rutgers University.
In the 11-12 Boys Division, Sam Maquet was second in the 200 butterfly (2:32.84), second in the 50 fly (31.66), third in the 100 100 fly (1:08.25), fifth in 100 freestyle (1:04.61), sixth in the 800 free (10:15.85), seventh in the 200 free (2:19.87), seventh in the 200 IM (2:41.14), ninth in the 400 IM (5:46.53), and 13th in 50 free (30.12). Jake Kosowski finished 10th in the 800 free (10:31.22).
In the 13-14 Boys Division, Ian Dixon-Anderson was 12th in the 100 fly (1:06.76), Griffin Hutton finished 10th in the 400 IM (5:24.30) and 16th in the 200 fly (2:39.61). Matt Tees was 13th in 1500 free (19:09.39) and 10th in the 800 free (10:11.97). Brendan Nuse finished 16th in 1500 free (19:49.66).
In the 10-and-under Girls Division, Lizzie Demoine was third in the 200 free (2:35.42), third in the 400 free (5:27.91), fourth in the 100 free (1:11.73), fifth in the 50 fly (37.08), and seventh in the 50 free (33.43).
In the 11-12 Girls Division, Meredith Davies finished fifth in the 800 free (10:22.80), seventh in the 400 free (5:04.18), 10th in the 200 back (2:42.86), 12th in the 100 free (1:07.10), and 12th in the 200 free (2:26.07).
