Tuccillo Farm, 30 Hogback Road, Bordentown Township, celebrates national Alpaca Farm Days with an open house Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with tours, face painting, alpaca training, boutique shopping, refreshments, shearing demonstrations and boom making. The farm, which has 33 alpacas, is sending fiber bags to the Gulf Coast to be used as booms to soak up spilled oil from the damaged BP well.
Chesterfield fest
The Spirit of Chesterfield Festival is being held Saturday, Sept. 25, on Church Street, in the Village of Crosswicks, Chesterfield, from 10 a.m – 4p.m with a 5K run/walk beginning at 9:30 a.m. Activities include: 5K run/walk, free yoga, antique auto display, magic show, balloon animals, face painting, kids games, crafters and artisans, food, pony rides and much more. Spaghetti dinner
The Crosswicks Fire Company, New Street, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs dinner Saturday, Sept. 25, from 3 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 10.
Church cafe

Holiday Bazaar
The Columbus Baptist Church, 24260 W. main St., Columbus, will hold its second annual Holiday Bazaar Saturday, Oct. 2, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. withvendors, raffles, refreshments and music. Admission is free.
Animal blessings

Fire muster
The Fieldsboro Fire Company will hold its annual Fire Muster & Show on Saturday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Home Depot on Route 541, Burlington, rain or shine. Lancaster trip
The Bordentown City Senior Citizens is sponsoring a bus trip to Lancaster on Friday, Oct. 8. It will be a day of shopping, fun and fellowship. We will be stopping at Green Dragon Farmers Market followed by shopping at Kitchen Kettle and then off to a smorgasbord dinner at Shady Maple where you will also have time for a little extra shopping in its gift shop. BMI parade, reunion
The Bordentown Military Institute holds reunion dinner Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton. The day will start with the Cadet Parade at 2:30 p.m. at the Bordentown Home for Funerals on Crosswicks Street and will conclude at the BMI Memorial statue on Park Street. An address will be followed by a flag raising and a tribute to the passed cadets. The public can view BMI memorabilia at the Bordentown Historical Society (at the Friends Meeting House, 302 Farnsworth Ave.) from noon to 4 p.m. only on Oct.23. Visit www.bmicadets.org.
