Metuchen/Trenton Dioceses to offer healing program for widowed, separated and divorced persons
METUCHEN – For some, a weekend away can mean a lifetime of change. The Diocese of Metuchen is partnering with the Diocese of Trenton to offer a Beginning Experience program designed to help widowed, separated and divorced persons make a new beginning in life through a powerful, intense and positive experience of hope and peace.
Set to take place the weekend of October 15-17 at the Stella Maris Retreat Center, Long Branch, the healing program is moderated by specially trained team members who have themselves suffered either the loss of a spouse or the end of a marriage. Participants will benefit from relevant presentations, small group discussions and the opportunity for private personal reflection. The cost is $230 per person.
