The Hightstown Rams Junior Midget Pop Warner football team suffered its first loss this season, 25-14, to the West Windsor Wildcats.
Hightstown scored on the game’s second play when Michael Elwell hit Mark Ozoroski with a pass and Ozorski went the final 35 yards for a touchdown. Craig Monahan’s PAT made it 8-0. WW cut it to 8-6 on its next possession.
Later in the half, Elwell found Ozoroski with another TD pass to give the Rams a 14-6 halftime lead. But West Windsor dominated the second half for the victory.
Hightstown’s defense was led by Kessley Felizer, Matt Toth, Luke Redfern and Nick Kozic while the offensive line was anchored by Matt Jacobson, Monahan, James Anthenelli and Ryan Colon.
