Emily Rivers and Matthew Schick, of Robbinsville, have been selected as two of 25 students in the Greater Philadelphia Area to receive scholarships from Dunkin’ Donuts and its franchisees in the region.
Ms. Rivers attends Bryn Mawr College and plans to major in biochemistry. Mr. Schick attends Bentley University and plans to major in marketing. Both are graduates of Robbinsville High School.
Dunkin’ Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program is awarding a total of $25,000 to 25 local students who were selected based on their positive academic record, demonstrated leadership ability and a commitment to their schools and communities. Each student is receiving a $1,000 scholarship to pursue a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school this fall.
The Dunkin’ Donuts scholarship program is managed by Scholarship America – the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals.
The 2010 recipients were selected by Scholarship America from thousands of applications submitted online. The program was open to high school seniors living in southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Kent and New Castle County, Delaware, who met certain academic and community criteria.
