Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County (JFCS) has announced the debut of its community cookbook, "Jersey Cooks: Local Food, Local Families, Local Favorites," the proceeds of which benefit the Ohel Avraham Kosher Food Pantry housed within the JFCS’s office in Princeton.
The publishing of "Jersey Cooks" was made possible through a corporate donation from Miele of Princeton. The Kosher Food Pantry provides non-perishable food items and food vouchers for fresh foods to families in need in the greater Mercer County area.
"Jersey Cooks" contains 246 recipes from JFCS constituents, volunteers, board members, local restaurants and caterers and can be purchased for $18 at JFCS’s fall luncheon, "Food for Thought," to be held at Greenacres Country Club in Lawrence on Oct. 21.
Following the luncheon the book can be purchased by contacting JFCS at 609-987-8100.
