The Friends of Washington Crossing Park present Harvest Day, c. 1800. Step back in time to experience
You should find the expertise of the blacksmith, bookbinder, chair-caner, basket-weaver and woodworker fascinating. Domestic arts demonstrations will include open-hearth cooking, apple-cider pressing, spinning, weaving, and mantua making (women’s clothing). Colonial games for children with quill pen writing and art activities will make for family fun. Area farmer’s market, the gift shop and food service will be available.
Admission includes all three locations: $9.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors and children over 6.  
The Friends of Washington Crossing Park is a non-profit corporation organized to reopen the park for guided interpretive tours and educational programming; and to raise funds to maintain the grounds, restore some of the historic buildings, train volunteers and host events, such as the annual 1776 Christmas Day Crossing reenactment.

From 11AM to 3 PM costumed reenactors from the Marbleheaders and Fifth PA Regiment will welcome you to tour the Village historic buildings and the Thompson-Neely house and Bowman’s tower in the upper park. View the film of the 1776 Christmas Day crossing, learn about the role of the Durham boats and witness demonstrations of the skills and crafts of the Colonial days.
