Anton Lahnston, Princeton
I am writing as an enthusiastic supporter of Councilman Andrew Koontz for the position of Mercer County freeholder.
As a resident of Princeton Borough for many years I have personally had the opportunity and pleasure to observe and experience Mr. Koontz’s work as a Princeton Borough councilman for over six years. During that time, I have been especially impressed with his work and commitments in several areas. First and foremost is his commitment to improving parks and recreation for our community. Mr. Koontz has been a strong advocate, decision-maker and supporter for the improvement and maintenance of our parks and recreation facilities.
At the same time he has taken a strong stand for keeping our local budget under control and has consistently fought any budget increases in the borough.
As a dedicated and experienced public servant he is also a strong advocate for shared services between Princeton Township and Borough in order to create greater government efficiencies and effectiveness. It is also my observation Mr. Koontz is a unique combination of a staunch team player as a councilman and as a member of our community as well as a practical and independent thinker. I value these qualities.
As a Mercer County freeholder, Mr. Koontz will bring a wealth of practical experience in local government along with solid integrity, and skills as a collaborator to work as a member of the Board of Freeholders for everyone in all of Mercer County. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to vote for Democratic candidate Andrew Koontz. Please join me in supporting him on Nov. 2, and supporting his running mates, Paula Sollami Covello for clerk, and Anthony Carabelli for freeholder.
