Priscilla Barnes, 46, of Hamilton, and Deborah Barber, 55, of Trenton, were charged with shoplifting from the Route 130 Burlington Coat Factory on Sept. 23.
Police said they responded to a report of two female suspects shoplifting. A vehicle description and plate number were provided, in addition to suspects’ descriptions. The vehicle, a 1994 Mercedes, was located and stopped on Old Trenton Road in West Windsor, police said. Investigation at the scene revealed the suspects were in possession of stolen perfume and clothing worth $239.
Police said Ms. Barber gave a false name to officers, and was charged with falsely implicating another, obstructing and hindering apprehension.
Police said they received a complaint that sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 and 9 a.m. Sept. 23, a Kensington Arms apartment was burglarized and jewelry worth $4,165 was stolen from a bedroom.
An Etra Road farmer reported someone had stolen five aluminum irrigation fittings from a field between 8 a.m. Sept. 22 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 23. The fittings were valued at approximately $450.
A man reported his vehicle, a Nissan Pathfinder, was burglarized at Hampton Arms apartments between 10:45 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday. The man reported a window was smashed with a rock and an iPod worth approximately $100 was stolen. The damage to the window was estimated at $150.
Gaganmeet Singh Bains, 30, of Cleveland, Ohio, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 130 at 2:14 Saturday morning. Police said they stopped him for driving erratically.
A woman reported her unlocked vehicle was entered while parked in the Windsor Regency parking lot and a GPS united valued at $120 was stolen between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
A man reported the rear spoiler and side-view mirrors were stolen from his vehicle, a 2002 Ford, while it was parked on Dutch Neck Road between 10 p.m. Sunday and 5:44 p.m. Monday. The parts were valued at $500.
A man reported the windshield of his vehicle, parked in an open garage on his Dutch Neck Road property, was damaged by a brick between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was estimated at $300.
Hightstown
Jorge R. Chacha, 37, of Pine Lane, East Windsor, was charged Sept. 23 with possession of a fraudulent government document, careless driving, unlicensed driving, and failure to have a taxi license.
Police said Mr. Chacha was stopped at 6:11 a.m. on Westerlea Avenue for driving on the wrong side of the road. While producing proof of identity, police said he was found in possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. Police said upon credential check, Mr. Chacha was arrested and found to have a detainer for deportation from Immigration Customs Enforcement. Mr. Chacha was released to officers from Immigration Customs Enforcement.
Jesse Lamparter, 27, of Spring Grove, Pa., was charged Sept. 23 with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and careless driving.
Police said they responded to a citizen complaint and detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from a vehicle parked in the Krauszer’s Lot on Franklin Street, in which Mr. Lamparter was seated. Police said a search of the vehicle revealed a pipe and marijuana in the center console. They also said Mr. Lamparter submitted breath samples resulting in 09-percent blood alcohol content.
Concepcion Andriano, 34, of Clarksburg, was charged Sunday morning with driving while intoxicated, DWI within a school zone, suspended driving, and suspended driving as a result of a DWI conviction.
Police said they saw him strike the center cement median, a curb, and then drove on the sidewalk on Main Street at 1:50 a.m. They also said he provided breath samples resulting in .21-percent blood alcohol content.
