The Chesterfield Baptist Church will hold a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Chesterfield Baptist Church. All proceeds will benefit Harvest of Hope Food Pantry in Jacobstown. Please help by bringing a non-perishable item for the food pantry. A donation of $5 is requested for a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to help families in our communities.

The Crosswicks Community Association will hold its annual Halloween Parade and Party on Sunday, Oct. 24. Come watch as it winds its way from the Union Fire Company on New Street down Main Street, ending at the Crosswicks Community House. All costumed children should meet at the firehouse prior to the start of the parade at 4 p.m.
Halloween games and refreshments will be available after the parade. There will be no costume judging so no child will be disappointed on this day of fun and festivity. So come and enjoy a community event with your family and an incredible cast of characters.
Be sure to mark your calendar for the Chesterfield Township Historical Society’s annual Holiday House Tour and horse and wagon rides on Sunday, Dec. 13. The house tours will be held from noon to 6 p.m. – $10 per person – showcasing beautifully decorated homes of Chesterfield Township. For more information on the house tour, call Nancy at 298-0567. Horse and wagon rides will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. – $8 per Chesterfield Township Historical Society member, $10 non-members, $3 children 4 to 12 years.
The Crosswicks Friends Meeting Crafts Night will be held every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the First Day School, located on the grounds of the Meeting House in Crosswicks.

The Crosswicks Monthly Meeting First Day School students are selling meetinghouse T-shirts. The T-shirts are available at the First Day School for $15. The T-shirts are black with a drawing of the Meetinghouse on the front. Proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts are for the First Day School community projects, which include TASK lunches. The afghan has pictures from eight different parts of Chesterfield Township, such as Village of Chesterfield and Crosswicks, the Municipal Building, the Crosswicks Library and much more.
