Second Skin Fashion Show returns to New Hope

The Second Skin Fashion Show returns to New Hope on Oct. 9 from 7-10 p.m.
The fashion show is part of the Second Skin Style & Textiles Exhibit on display at the New Hope Arts Center, 2 Stockton, Ave., New Hope.
Runway professionals from the Philadelphia area have volunteered their time to model the fashions and wearable art by local, regional, and international artists and designers. Featured designers are: Glamtastic of Frenchtown, Juan Jose Saenz-Ferreyro, a Peruvian designer who resides in Princeton, Frances Heinrich, also from Princeton; and other designers from around the world.
Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres catered by Triumph Brewery, Thyme on the Delaware, and New Hope Arts volunteer David Cannell. Wine and other beverages also will be served.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, New Hope Arts, Inc. also presents a photography exhibition by award-winning photographer, Christine Benjamin and donates a percentage of proceeds from the entire Second Skin Style & Textiles Exhibit and Fashion Show to The Healing Consciousness Foundation, a Bucks County, Pa. nonprofit organization that helps breast cancer patients by funding holistic services not normally funded by traditional insurance plans or that have a high out-of-pocket deductible.
