PLUMSTED – Wristbands are being pre-sold for the Spooktacular in New Egypt by the New Egypt Primary School and Woehr Elementary School PTOs.
The wristbands will allow children unlimited access to inflatables, pony rides, face painting, games and more at the festival, which takes place on Halloween day. The cost for one to three wristbands is $5 each, and for four or more the cost is $4 each. At the festival on Oct. 31, they will be sold for $6 each.
In addition to being available through the PTO, wristbands also may be purchased at the New Egypt Marketplace for Great Value, Max’s Bike Shop and Scott’s Market, all located on Main Street in New Egypt.
The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street and North Main Street in downtown New Egypt. Spooky activities will include a costume contest, a haunted house, hayrides, a costumed pet parade, spooky story time and a pumpkin carving contest. The festival is sponsored by Main Street New Egypt and Plumsted Township.
