The Crosswicks Community Association Annual Halloween Parade and Party on Sunday, Oct. 24. What a sight it will be, come watch as it winds its way from the Union Fire Company on New Street then down Main Street, ending at the Crosswicks Community House. All costumed children should meet at the firehouse prior to the start of the parade at 4 p.m. Halloween games and refreshments will be available after the parade. There will be no costume judging so no child will be disappointed on this day of fun and festivity. So come and enjoy a community event with your family and an incredible cast of characters. ***

The Union Fire Company and Crosswicks Community Association Annual Tree Lighting & Santa’s Visit will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, December 12. Join your friends and neighbors in listening to holiday music and enjoying homemade baked goods and hot cocoa. The Crosswicks Friends Meeting Crafts Night will be held every Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the First Day School, located on the grounds of the Meeting House in Crosswicks. The Nature Nuts, new 4-H Club will be meeting in Chesterfield Township. The Nature Nuts are an Environmental Science Club for youth in grades 4 – 12. They will be learning about different ecosystems, wildlife, fish, birds, trees, plants, soil, insects, renewable energy, recycling and more. They will do community service projects, field trips to various nature centers, and have guest speakers. The club will meet once a month at Windswept Farm in Chesterfield Township.
