Alford, Drews, Zullo and McAleers star in HEWYBL play

Sean McEleer rushed for 250 yards and had 150 receiving yards and three touchdown catches as the Ravens topped the Falcons, 38-24, in HEWYBL Sophomore football. Rezon Alford threw for 300 yards, while the defense of Drew Borek and Tyler Shumsky both had interception returns for touchdowns. The Falcons were led by 300 passing yards and three touchdowns by AJ Delgado, while Jerry Ford rushed for 185t yards. Jack Olsen and Justin Sabogal made key stops on defense.
The Ravens topped the Panthers, 30-18, as Christopher Drews had 240 passing yards and two touchdowns while Daniel Sasson had 158 rushing yards. The defense was led by Gavin Brown and Tien Amir Siplin, who both returned interceptions for touchdowns. In freshman play the Ravens topped the Cowboys, 28-21 as Kelly McAleer rushed for 285 yards and three touchdowns and Cooper Zullo passed for 250 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Guy and Evan Cepeda had numerous flag pulls. The Cowboys were led y Max Peterson (285 yards, 2 TDs) and Daniel Wershing (345 passing yards, 1 TD) on offense, and by Conner Kovarik and Timothy Davis on defense.
