The West Windsor-Plainsboro Valiants U10 soccer team took its winning streak on the road Sunday, beating the North Brunswick United, 3-0.
The Valiants dominated the pitch with a well-executed passing game. Leo Hecht notched the first goal for the Valiants early in the game. Jake Williams tallied off a well-placed corner kick from Connor Ferry, and Ferry scored the third goal late in the game off of a centering pass from Hecht. Taito Yamada and Brian Spencer provided additional offensive support.
Jude Ferri, Max Gargan and Bobby Hendry were strong on defense, breaking up most of the offensive rushes before the eighteen. Evan Robinson, Nicholas Pugliese and Spencer Meiner controlled the pace of the game in the midfield, moving the ball up the field with finesse. Rohan Chugh was impressive in goal, preserving the shutout with a leaping off-the-fingertips save late in the game.
