The Brace Place team, for the eighth year, will present their Halloween Candy Buy Back event. With it, they have found a way to keep the fun in Halloween while allowing children to get involved in a charitable act. Brace Place offices in Manalapan (800 Tennent Road), Freehold (509 Stillwells Corner Road) and Hightstown (234 Princeton-Hightstown Road) are all participating. For each pound of candy brought to their offices, $2 will be offered to the donor. One dollar is to be donated to a special charity, and $1 is for the donor to keep or donate as he or she chooses. A Howell Chamber of Commerce Medical Division networking event will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at CentraState Medical Center’s Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center, Freehold Township. The event will aim to bring medical professionals together, along with other chamber members and business owners. The evening will include appetizers and wine in addition to prizes that will be raffled off to those in attendance. Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company has kicked off its “Quotes for a Cure” program once again with hopes to raise $25,000 for the Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) CINJ is a comprehensive cancer center and is a Center of Excellence of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. From now through Dec. 1, Allstate New Jersey will donate $10 to the CINJ Foundation for every life or auto insurance quote requested (up to $20 per person and $25,000 total) through any of Allstate’s 240 New Jersey agents.

Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, has opened the region’s first satellite of the hospital’s Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center in Colts Neck.

The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Colts Neck Screening Mammography and Laboratory Services Center, is at 310 Route 34, Colts Neck.

The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center, which was introduced in 1994 to bring together under one roof all preventive, diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation, psychosocial and educational services for women concerned about their breast health, was modeled after the nation’s most highly regarded breast centers.

It is equipped with technologically advanced systems, offering a comprehensive array of preventive, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative services.
