Hector Troche, 19, and David Troche, 24, both of Cedar Lane, were each charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 19.
Following a traffic stop officers noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the car. After further investigation officers recovered several bags of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Both were lodged at the Burlington County Jail in default of $15,000 bail.
Daniel Rivera, 22, was charged with resisting arrest and a contempt charge on Oct. 19. The police attempted to take Mr. Rivera into custody for an outstanding warrant. After police advised Mr. Rivera that he was under arrest he took off running. Police were able to catch up with him and take him into custody.
Mr. Rivera was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was then transported to the Burlington County Jail in default of $7,500 bail.
Jesse Kitson, 19, was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct on Oct. 24. Police were dispatched to Seventh Avenue for a disturbance. Upon arrival investigation led to Mr. Kitson being taken into custody. He was then taken to police headquarters and processed and transported to the Burlington County Jail in default of $2,500 bail.
Ross Lawrence, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane of travel on Oct. 24. Police were dispatched to Cedar Lane after reports of a one-car collision without injury. Investigation led police to believe that Mr. Lawrence was driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released pending a court date.
Police reported that the car and guide rail along Cedar Lane were damaged.
Monet Jenjins, 20, of Burlington, was charged with underage possession of an alcoholic beverage and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and Willie Chase, 26, of Trenton, was charged with driving while suspended and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle on Oct. 23. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 North and discovered Mr. Chase to be driving while suspended.
Ms. Jenjins was taken into custody, processed and released pending a court date.
Bordentown City
A Prince Street resident called police around 10 a.m. on Oct. 17 and reported her 2010 Honda was damaged while it was parked in her driveway. The car had been parked in the driveway since around 4 p.m. the previous day and sustained a dent on the roof next to the front windshield and a cracked windshield.
Police investigation failed to reveal a cause of the damage and cost of repairs is still unknown.
Ryan Wagner, 18, of Walnut Street, was charged with possession of a schedule III narcotic and drug paraphernalia on Oct. 11, around 10:30 p.m. Mr. Wagner was observed by police in a verbal dispute with his mother on Railroad Avenue. It was discovered that Mr. Wagner was in possession of a knife. While patting down Mr. Wagner a small silver container fell from his pant leg onto the ground, containing what police said was a schedule III narcotic.
Mr. Wagner was given an October court date.
Police received a call that four juveniles were loitering and breaking bottles near the tracks in the rear parking lot of the New Jersey Light Rail Train Station. All juveniles admitted to throwing bottles in the area of the tracks except for one who admitted to "smoking." Police asked him to empty his pockets and he produced aluminum foil wrapped around a silver pipe that did have the odor of marijuana.
All juveniles were taken to the station and picked up by their parents or guardians. The one juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and awaits a court date in Mount Holly’s juvenile division.
Bordentown Township
Shane Rooney, 29, of Roebling was charged with burglary and sexual assault offenses on Oct. 19. Investigation revealed that Mr. Rooney and the victim had known each other prior to the incident. They attended a party separately on Crosswicks Road on Oct. 16. The victim left the party in the predawn hours Sunday morning to go to bed and awoke to find Mr. Rooney sexually assaulting her.
Mr. Rooney was charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree sexual assault and bail was set at $100,000. He was remanded to the custody of the Burlington County Jail in default of bail. The matter remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Bordentown Township detectives.
