Pheasant’s Landing, November 27
Greg Provo and Glory Road to perform for the first time two new songs about lost loves, Still Think of Me and Firefly in a Jar on Saturday, November 27th, 9:00pm at Pheasant’s Landing in Hillsborough.
Greg Provo is an acclaimed international singer/songwriter. With a unique blend of alternative folk and bluegrass, Greg has an Americana sound that is entirely his own. His debut CD "CHANGE IN DIRECTION" received considerable airplay in the U.S. and excellent reviews in Europe. Greg has opened for the Bellamy Brothers and was a finalist in the Philadelphia Independent Music Songwriters contest. Living in central New Jersey, Greg has played venues as the Black Potato Music Festival in Clinton, KatManDu in Trenton, John and Peters, Godfrey Daniels and Sellersville Theater in Pennsylvania.
Whether reliving sweet memories or bidding a bitter farewell, the saddest love songs are universal, sharing emotions to which we can all relate. And the best (or worst?) of them are those we can’t quite make it through without shedding a few tears. Greg adds "I try to write songs that most anyone can relate to at one time or another. If you give it a decent listen I think it can bring you simple gifts."
