At the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad, Jay Podulchick, Daviv Illon, Shawn Gallager and Frank Setnicky set up a Life Stat CPR machine that they will be testing for possible acquisition by the squad. PFARS responds to some 2,800 emergency calls a year, says Mr. Setnicky, the squad’s director. Like its sister unit in Montgomery and other towns, PFARS depends heavily upon trained volunteers to maintain the quality and extent of emergency response.
