The Cheesequake Baseball and Softball league will hold registration for the 2011 season on Nov. 20 and Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cheesequake baseball fields, located on Route 9 north and Schulmeister Road in Old Bridge. A newly forming 13U travel baseball team from the Old Bridge area is holding tryouts. Players must be no older than 13 years of age as of April 30, 2011. The team roster will be limited to 12 committed players. Plans are to play fall ball this season, participate in winter training, play in a spring travel baseball league and in one or two tournaments.
