Mrs. Brennan, 90, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 1, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a U.S. Army Air Corps. veteran of World War II. She also taught reading for many years at Freehold schools. Mrs. Brennan was predeceased by her husband, George A. Brennan, in 1982; a brother, Benjamin Rutkowski; three sisters, Stella Doughert, Francis Cichocki and Mary Markieska. Surviving are three sons, George A. Brennan Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah; James P. Brennan of Kailua Kona, Hawaii; and John J. Brennan of Lakewood; and six grandchildren. A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Building Fund. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
