Helena Brennan

Mrs. Brennan, 90, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 1, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. She also taught reading for many years in Freehold schools. Mrs. Brennan was predeceased by her husband, George A. Brennan, in 1982; a brother, Benjamin Rutkowski; and three sisters, Stella Doughert, Francis Cichocki and Mary Markieska. Surviving are three sons, George A. Brennan Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah, James P. Brennan of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and John J. Brennan of Lakewood; and six grandchildren. A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Robert Bellarmine Church Building Fund. Arrangements were by the Clayton & Mc- Girr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
